We are seeking a talented, Austin-based B2B Digital Media Strategist who has a professional background in the Healthcare Industry or MedTech space to fill a role within our fast-growing marketing team. EDAP is a global leader in high-tech robotic medical devices for diagnosing and treating Prostate Cancer. EDAP is a NASDAQ-listed international group with a rapidly growing presence in the United States, leading with the proprietary Focal One technology brand (www.FocalOne.com).

The core competencies of the Digital Media Strategist role will be successfully developing brand awareness through a high-value presence on the web, social media, and other various digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the company’s marketing strategy
  • Design and constantly improve the company’s presence and image on the web and social media
  • Advance scheduling of day-to-day B2B and B2C content across brand social media platforms
  • Monitor discussions, posts, comments, and messages across multiple platforms
  • Ability to edit graphic content using Adobe Express templates
  • Engage (retweeting, liking, sharing, responding to posts) with B2B and B2C followers and influencers across all Focal One social platforms
  • Identify opportunities for potential brand partnerships (traditional and non-traditional alike)
  • Ability to brainstorm ideas with fellow Creative Team members to craft engaging campaigns
  • Monitor the performance of existing campaigns
  • Present strategies and results to the Leadership Team
  • Other duties, as needed and assigned

Professional Experience/Qualifications

  • Relevant and current work experience in similar digital media strategy functions, ideally in the high-tech and/or the medical industry
  • Minimum 3+ years of previous editorial or social media experience
  • Demonstrated successful execution of social media content strategy in the B2B medical space
  • Expert knowledge of social media, mobile apps, and digital and mobile marketing
  • A complete portfolio of digital media campaigns and analysis of ROI showcasing skills and experience.
  • Solid understanding of HTML and CSS
  • Prior experience leading projects from specifications to delivery
  • B2B natural storytelling as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of the changing digital landscape
  • Able to identify new social media platform opportunities and have a proven interest in keeping up-to-date with social media platform developments
  • Strong attention to detail with an ability to create communications that are cohesive with the brand messaging
  • Able to meet deadlines with good time-management skills
  • Exercises excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing to individuals at all levels
  • Ability to manage through distractions, perform with changing priorities and aggressive deadlines
  • Experience with tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe Express is preferred
  • Either has a degree or is working towards a degree in

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, advertising, and or communications with specific training in graphic design, web design, digital design, or a related field.
